Elizabeth, European traveler

We ate at a seafood restaurant.  Emily and Shelby
ate fish with the fishes' faces attached.
We are at Capri.  The water was amazing!!!
These comments are by the lovely Elizabeth!

Laura took this picture;
Mom has it up in our home and her office.
Our last night with our tour guide, Emilio.
He is not in the picture.
We each ate a pizza
that was bigger than our face.

This is everyone in the Ky. contingency!

This was the very coolest place.
We heard a story about prostitution
and saw a brothel.
We also met a stray sheep puppy
and pet it a LOT.
We probably should have
gotten tetanus shots afterward.

All dressed up for dinner on the cruise ship.

We saw the Coliseum.
We could see it from our hotel!
We did a looooooot of walking!
There were bunches of strawberries
everywhere - I was with Laura.
She wrote about it on her blog.

Best part of the entire trip was
getting to be with Aunt Laura.

Saw this with Aunt Laura.
Love Aunt Laura!
View from a Greek island;
we walked for a long time on the beach
and got lost.
We also ate chicken gyros that night.
This was our first sighting of land
after we left on the cruise ship!

After walking up stairs for 30 minutes,
we saw this theatre.
Still with Aunt Laura.
The views were like a postcard.

At the airport, about to leave for the US.
Our last day.
What an experience it was.

  1. I love, love, love all these photos and the captions!!!! Where to begin? First of all, I love the photos taken in Nemi. It was such a special place to be there with Elizabeth. I love the photo of the strawberry tarts on the tray with sunflower display in front; cooler photo than mine with just the tarts. What a cool photo of the palm tree and view to the lake in Nemi. Good eye! Speaking of eyes, wow, the sun was really shining in our eyes when the guy took the photo of the two of us. He did a good job though (better than my photo taken by a guy with shaky hands!). The sunset looks fantastic. Neat that your hotel looked onto the Acropolis (not Colosseum--that's in Rome). Love the Colosseum photo with the whole group and you guys look so elegant before your cruise dinner!! What an incredible trip!!! I feel so lucky I got to see you.
